OK, this is the page for Billy & Sammy. I know lots of you have been emailing to ask about how they have been going on at school so I have started up a little bit of a diary to keep track on things. As much as for myself as for anybody else.
They have made some new friends over here, mainly a little girl called Jaz who is originally from London. They moved here last year so she is some way ahead of our kids with the language. She is also 4 and just a few months younger than Sammy.
Billy has made a couple of friends at school but until we find out where everybody lives and he picks up the language a lot more it will be hard for him. He has made a few friends in the resort, a Portuguese friend owns Squash Pub and his wife is Irish. He has 2 kids aged around 6 and 9 so Billy gets on well with them.
Picture 1: Here is a picture of Billy & Sammy on the beach in Alvor. It was taken on a Friday afternoon 15 minutes after leaving school. For me pictures like this are the reasons we wanted to come here in the first place.
Picture 2: Sammy being as stubborn as ever. Tell her to keep the armbands on as no adults are in the water. Turn your back for 2 seconds and they are off again. Typical woman eh!
Picture 3: Billy is a hand full in the pool, loves nothing more than to wait till you are not watching and then dive onto you. He tries to surprise you but it doesn't work. The giggle he gives out as he is running to dive in gives him away.
