As most of you are fully aware Jackie and I moved out to Portugal on 30th November 2005. It wasn't the easiest of starts due to the speed of which the move happened but so far everything has gone as expected.
When we went out here all we had was a weeks rent on an apartment in the area the snack bar was in. After a chat with Paulo from the Squash Pub and we managed (with his help) to get a good deal from The Squash Apartments manager (Henani). We have been living at Squash Apartment ever since and have become great friends with the locals who frequent the Squash Pub.

Even though on the 21st Aug 2006 we will get the keys for our new home we have already stated that they will continue to spend a few days a week down at the Squash Apartments we they feel it's still home to us and we want to keep close to
the new friends they have made over the past 12 months at least until the rental is up on the apartment.
