Pete & Donna's Page

Well, this is mine and Donna's page. Funny how when it comes to your own page and talking about yourself you are never sure what to say. It has been a hectic start to our life over here. So much that we needed to organize, but no matter how much you prepare you can never have everything in place. Like Social Security numbers and arrange injections for kids before they could start school and all sorts. We have managed to get our house sorted and even have cable TV and Internet sorted and it seems i have spent the last month building flat pack furniture and putting old stuff back together. It's been a hectic few weeks as I have already said. When I moved out here I knew it would be no picnic to start with.  I have (in my own opinion) adapted really well so far and apart from my friends, oh and the other night I really fancied a take-away from Portwood Chippy I haven't been too bad.

When in the yUk I can't honestly say I had many friends, just had a few which I considered very close. Out here so far has been the same, made a couple of friends but I am confident they will grow to be very close in time. The kids have only been in school for just over a week. I am feeling more at ease as it seems they are slowly taking to it. That I guess was my only concern.

To all the people that I/WE were close to, please don't be offended if we have not got in touch yet. The main reasons are that we would rather the kids settled before we get in touch as it might make them homesick, so we just want to play it safe. The other reason is that to be honest the days go so fast that there never seems enough hours in the day

That's all from me. Just left to say a few hello's to Martin, Trina and Jayde. Louis, Martin and Julia. All the southern softies in Godalming. Mahender & Co. And of course all my family back in Stockport & Anglesey. Way too many of you for me to mention but think of you all on a regular basis. Just hope that one day family and FRIENDS can find their way too me for a visit. Miss you all loads x TC.

From taking a look at our sister  website you can actually take a look at Praia Da Rocha before actually visiting us .
